New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has slammed ‘double standards’ in the criminal justice system after the release of Kyle Rittenhouse.

AOC took to Twitter to say:

“Does anyone believe Rittenhouse would be released if he were Muslim & did the same thing in a diff context?

“For people who say ‘systemic racism doesn’t exist,’ this is what it looks like: protection of white supremacy baked deep into our carceral systems,” she continued, adding “Law and disorder.”

Rittenhouse, from Illinois, claims he acted in self-defense when he shot and killed protesters Anthony Huber, 26, and Joseph Rosenbaum, 36. A third man was also injured.

John Hubert, whose son was killed by Rittenhouse, has spoken out about the support the young killer has received:

“HE HAS PEOPLE OUT THERE WHO WILL HELP HIM, ORGANIZATIONS, MILITIA GROUPS RAISING MONEY FOR HIS DEFENSE RIGHT NOW,” H

“HE THINKS HE’S ABOVE THE LAW. HE’S BEEN TREATED AS SUCH BY LAW ENFORCEMENT. HE BELIEVES HE’S JUSTIFIED IN THE CASE, AND FOR HIM TO RUN WOULDN’T SURPRISE ME.”

  1. Such nonsense from the former female bartender. He was attacked and he protected himself. It’s called the 2nd Amendment. Send this moron back to the bar.
