Country Singer Doug Supernaw Has Died Aged 60


Country singer Doug Supernaw, who was best known for his ’90s hits “Reno” and “I Don’t Call Him Daddy,” has died at the age of 60.

The singer was taken to hospital last month as he fought lung and bladder cancer, and has passed away.

B&G Records said in a statement:

“It is with great sadness that we annnounce the passing of Gold Record Country Artist, Doug Supernaw,”

“Fighting the good fight for almost two years, Doug’s cancer had spread to his brain and spine, and he was placed in Hospice care in October 2020,”
