Georgia officials have announced they will re-count the votes after Donald Trump made allegations of fraud and illegal voting.
And not only will there be a re-count in Georgia, it’ll also be done by hand, which is very rare.
President-elect Joe Biden was narrowly leading President Trump in Georgia by more than 14,000 votes as of Wednesday, which is the equivalent of 0.3% of the vote.
Despite the re-count, Georgia Secretary of State, Mr. Raffensperger, doesn’t believe the recount will change the vote tally in Georgia.
“I have faith in the accuracy of the electronic voting machines,” he said, adding, “I believe the results are accurate.”
